Gus Martin Memorial Anglo-Irish Literature Scholarships At UCD, Ireland – 2018

Applications are currently invited for Gus Martin Memorial Anglo-Irish Literature Postgraduate Scholarship in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at the School of English, Drama and Film, University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. 


The scholarship will provide full tuition (international fee) to a graduate of a North American college/university to pursue postgraduate (MA) programme in September 2018-August 2019.

Eligible Countries: Graduates of a North American college/university (US or Canada) are eligible to apply.
Type: Offers are available for pursuing postgraduate (MA) programme.

Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship will provide full tuition (international fee).
Eligibility:
  • Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree high honours level in a North American university (US or Canada), by date of application.
    Applicants must, prior to application for the scholarship, have admission into the MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama.
  • If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

How To Apply: The application must include:
  • A personal statement (1-2 pages) indicating suitability for the bursary award;
  • A full Curriculum Vitae.
  • A sample of recent academic writing in English (max 3,000 words).
  • Notice of admission into MA in Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama, UCD.
  • The nomination of two referees by the applicant.
You are to separately submit a written references by the referees to Professor Margaret Kelleher (Margaret.O.Kelleher@ucd.ie) by the closing date for application
